We're thankful for Thanksgiving snow! Up to two feet of snow fell at some Vermont ski areas last week, and this week's cold temperatures are great for snowmaking as open areas expand terrain and additional areas prepare to open later this week. Check back often, and make sure to visit your destination's website for the latest operating status and snow conditions before you travel. If you plan to go uphill, please check the ski area's status first! Many areas restrict uphill travel during early season due to ongoing mountain operations. (updated 12/3)
