Ski Vermont 4 Pass

Cost: $199 + tax per 4 Pass. VT/US residency not required. All sales are final unless rejected by Ski Vermont.

The Ski Vermont 4 Pass is comprised of 4 vouchers, to be used at four (4) different participating ski areas by only the passholder, the individual named on pass. 

• 4 Pass vouchers are redeemed for a lift ticket as instructed by the ski area.
• 4 Passes cannot be shared. Ski Areas reserve the right to ask for proof of ID.
• 4 Passes are digital & accessed via customer portal.
• You cannot add someone to your account. You can purchase a product for another person under your account.
• One 4 Pass per passholder. If our portal flags a purchase as exceeding this limit, we will delay pass approval and contact the customer to determine the best course of action, either keeping the purchase but changing the passholder's name or cancelling with refund. This limit pertains to the number of 4 Passes assigned to a single person, not a purchaser's quantity limit. Customers can purchase up to multiple passes in one order, using the combo of Household and Gift option. 
• 4 Passes are subject to restricted dates and redemption requirements which vary per ski area. 
• Vouchers cannot be redeemed if passholder fails to follow the ski area’s outlined voucher redemption requirements or has reached max capacity for the day.
• 4 Passes are valid for use, once approved, through the 2024-25 season. A ski area’s season begins on its opening day in Fall 2024 and ends on its final day of operation in Spring of 2025.

Ski Vermont 4 Passes are sold and then managed through Ski Vermont’s Online Pass Portal. Regular access to portal is required to use. No physical product will be mailed. All sales are final unless rejected by Ski Vermont.

• 2 different purchase options. Review PRIOR to purchase. Passes cannot be moved to or managed from another account once assigned.
• One (1) 4 Pass per passholder (person pass assigned to). 
• All purchases and gift redemptions are subject to approval. Approval can take up to 10 business days (M-F).
• Customers should create a new account or check their access to existing account prior to sale to expedite the purchase process.

Step 1. Log in or create an account in the portal. An account belongs to one person. You cannot add someone to your account.  

• New Account: To create a new account, complete the account creation and household information page. You will then be brought to the product purchase page which means your account has been created. 4 pass will not show until on sale. 
• Existing Account: Log In. Any active products will be displayed if already purchased for the 24.25 season with same account (ex. 5th grade passport). Click "Add Product" to be brought to the pass product purchase page. 

Step 2. Choose purchase option. On the pass product page, click 4 Pass and choose quantity under desired purchase option(s) (2). Passes are reserved once placed in customer shopping cart and then up to the time indicated or when purchase is completed, whichever comes first. Gift Code box remains empty; this is used for redeeming gift purchases after purchase.

Step 3. Assign and Review Cart

For Household/Self purchases: First complete the required information for each pass holder.

For gift purchases: Proceed directly to review cart.

Review Cart: Click "edit" to change or "Cancel this Pass" on bearer information page under "Submit Passholder Information" BEFORE payment.

Step 4. Complete Purchase. Gift Code box remains empty; this is used for redeeming gift purchases after purchase.

• Payment credit card box is set to auto advance to each field, if view is distorted on mobile, flip phone horizontal to proceed.
• Agree to "Terms and Conditions" and "All Sales are Final" for payment to be accepted.
• An email confirmation of purchase is sent from "No Reply" address. A separate email confirmation will be sent for each 4 Pass gift purchased with the redemption gift code and information to provide to the gift recipient.

You cannot add someone to your account. You can purchase a product for another person under your account.

Customers can purchase in a combination of two options if desired. For example, purchase one for yourself by clicking Quantity: 1 under Option 1: Household and for a friend by clicking Quantity: 1 under Option 2: A Gift, all in a single purchase! A max of 12 passes per single order if using a combination of each option. 

Option 1: Purchase 4 Pass for yourself and/or household. This option is best if purchasing for yourself or family/friends who may not want or have the ability to manage their own 4 Pass usage online.

• 6 passes per a single order limit, all must be assigned to different passholders.
• Passes purchased under the household option assign passes to your account, and you are responsible for managing the voucher reservations. 4 Passes cannot be transferred to another account. 
  
• All 4 Passes must be assigned and require purchaser to input the name & date of birth for all pass bearers to complete purchase. Please use suffix to avoid confusion if purchasing more than one pass with similar names (SR, JR, II...).

Option 2: Purchase the 4 Pass as a gift!   This option is best if you don't want to be responsible for managing another passholder's usage, if pass is intended as a gift or unsure who the passholder will be at the time of purchase as it can be assigned at a later date under either a new or existing account. Example: Unsure your college age kid will be home during winter break? Purchase 4 Pass gift option so you can gift/name someone else if their plans change.

• 6 passes per single order limit. 
• Pass bearer/recipient information is not needed at the time of purchase. Upon purchase, an email with redemption gift code and information on how to use it is sent to purchaser to present to recipient from a no reply email.
• The recipient will use the code to redeem their gifted 4 Pass on purchase page (even after sold out) and assign passholder name. They can use or create their own account to manage usage. Note: approval still required on redeemed passes, up to 10 day waiting period. If a person already has an active 4 Passes in our system under their name and attempts to redeem a gifted pass under their name, either on a current account or a new one, the request will be denied.

1. Ski Vermont reviews each purchase to verify that it meets the approval requirements (not exceeding the max of one pass per passholder limit). 

• This approval takes up to 10 business days after purchase or gift card redemption (processing M-F).
• As needed, Ski Vermont will send an email to the bearer/account manager outlining any issues that may be delaying approval and will hold that Pass as pending until information is received.

2. Once approved, an email for each 4 Pass purchased for your household will be sent. Gift recipients will receive their approval email once they have completed redemption steps and request is reviewed.

Customers are welcome to check the approval status of a purchase by logging into their customer portal. The portal will state which products are pending and display any already approved.

The passholder can obtain one (1) lift ticket in their name to the chosen ski area by redeeming a reserved single-use, barcoded voucher.

How to Reserve Voucher to Redeem for Lift Ticket:

Voucher redemption is required to obtain a lift ticket. The process the bearer and/or account manager completes—by logging into their portal, selecting a ski area and visit date to generate a single-use barcode—is a voucher reservation. 

1. Access customer portal: Prior to visiting a ski area log in to your portal account. The active 4 Pass will automatically load on the screen displaying the passholder's name. If you have multiple people/products on an account, the name displayed indicates the person who the voucher is being reserved for. To view a different 4 Pass, select it from the name list below the large box. 

2. Choose ski area: Scroll/move down the page to find the desired ski area. Click "More Info" to review ski area’s restricted dates and redemption requirements.

3. Reserve Voucher: To obtain a voucher, click "available for redemption" and chose the desired visit date. Click "reserve voucher." Once a voucher reservation is completed, it is marked as reserved in the portal and the ski area and date CANNOT be changed.

Dates may not be available for the following reasons:

• It is outside the 7- day reservation window (including day of) and not yet available.
• It is one of the dates listed as restricted by the ski area and is not valid for use on this day.
• It is a date that is outside that ski area's indicated regular operating schedule.
• The ski area has listed this date with limited inventory that applies to 3rd party products like the 4 Pass, and they have reached that inventory limit for the day. Lift tickets may still be available for purchase, check directly with ski area.
  
• The ski area has reached general max capacity for the day and notified Ski Vermont in time for us to close out the date to avoid anyone being turned away at the window.

Voucher Usage Notes:

• Reserved vouchers in the Ski Vermont portal do not guarantee the bearer a lift ticket or lift ticket reservation privileges unless otherwise indicated by the destination ski area in their redemption Information. See Participating Areas, Restricted Dates & Redemption Information or More Info in the customer portal.
• Ski areas CANNOT generate a lift ticket if their voucher redemption requirements are not followed or if they have reached max capacity for the day.

Option 1: View a reserved voucher via customer portal. Log in, scroll down to destination ski area which will state voucher reserved and "Click To View". The barcoded voucher will display on the screen.

Option 2: View reserved voucher via email. A copy of each reserved voucher is automatically emailed to the account manager. This email can be forwarded as needed if managing 4 Passes for others under your account. Check spam, look for no-reply email.

Follow the destination ski areas redemption requirements, review prior to arriving as some areas require advance online lift ticket reservations using the barcoded voucher. Review Participating Ski Areas, Restricted Dates and Redemption Information or the More Info in customer portal.

Regular Operating Schedule: Ski area daily operating schedules may vary. A date may still show as available in the portal for reservation if Ski Vermont has not received the closure information from a ski area.

BOLTON VALLEY RESORT

For busy weekends or anticipated powder days, reserving a Ski Vermont voucher early within the 7-day allowed window is advised to guarantee a lift ticket.

Ski Vermont 4 Passes are sold and then managed by a customer through Ski Vermont’s Online Pass Portal. Regular access to portal is required to use a 4 Pass. No physical pass is provided.

24-25 4 Pass Terms and Conditions

• Purchaser’s Responsibility: Purchasers are responsible for ensuring that they, or any individual they have purchased on behalf of, are familiar with, and agree to abide by, the Terms and Conditions of use.
• Pass Misuse: Purchasers understand Ski Vermont reserves the right to deactivate a passport, without refund and in its entirety, either for the remainder of the 2024-2025 ski season or in perpetuity, if any vouchers are found to have been used in violation of the conditions of use set forth herein. 
• Passports are only valid for use by the assigned person. 4 Passes and 4 Pass vouchers are non-transferrable. There is a maximum purchase of one 4 Pass per bearer per season. Ski Vermont reserves the right to refuse approval for any person who our system flags as having more than one pass in their name.
• 4 Pass Use: A “4 Pass” is comprised of four (4) individual ski vouchers, which are only valid for use by the individual named on a 4 Pass. A 4 Pass is valid one (1) time at a participating ski area. Passholder may obtain one (1) lift ticket to a participating ski area on the chosen date by reserving and redeeming one of their four (4) single-use, barcoded vouchers. 
• 4 Passes are subject to restricted and limited inventory dates. If a ski area has limited inventory dates, once allocated inventory is reached, the date will no longer show as available in the portal and will be restricted from further 4 Pass use.
• Voucher Reservation and Redemption: Voucher reservations can be made up to seven (7) days in advance, including day-of, based on ski area availability. Ski Areas are not obligated to redeem voucher if bearer fails to abide by their redemption requirements or if the area has reached max capacity for the day.
•  A reserved voucher does not guarantee the bearer any ticket or ticket reservation privileges unless otherwise stated in the destination ski area’s redemption process. Participating ski areas are not obligated to redeem voucher if bearer fails to abide by a ski area’s redemption procedures or if the area has reached max capacity for the day.
• Ticket Restrictions:  Ski areas reserve the right to restrict or prohibit 4 Pass vouchers from being used in conjunction with other offers or by participants in special events or competitions of any kind.
• Additional Charges: Lift tickets obtained using a 4 Pass voucher may be subject to additional charges depending on the ski area’s ticketing technology. Vouchers are considered equivalent to single day lift tickets.
• Refunds/Exchange: All sales are final. 4 Passes are non-transferable and valid from a ski area’s Fall 2024 ski season opening date and ends on its final date of ski operations in Spring 2025. 4 Passes are not eligible for cash refund under any circumstances and cannot be carried over or exchanged for use the following season.
• Ski Area Terms: Ski areas reserve the right to change and update terms as they deem necessary.

Email support@passes.skivermont.com PRIOR to the date of the reserved voucher with request to revalidate. Include child’s name, voucher number, ski area and selected redemption date so we can work with you to re-validate the voucher for future use at our discretion. *

If you are turned away at the ski area due to max capacity when attempting to redeem, you must email that same day stating max capacity as the request for revalidation reason. We will confirm information with the ski area and re-validate* the voucher for future use at our discretion.

* If any voucher has already been used to complete an advanced online ticket reservation, re-validation will not be an option as that voucher number is already registered in the ski area's system and not work for you again. Customers will need to work with the ski area directly to request date change.
