 2021-2022 COVID COVERAGE POLICY

Ski Vermont is not anticipating a need for a Covid Coverage Policy or deferral option for the 2021-2022 season. Ski Vermont 4 Passes are only valid for the 2021-22 season, are not eligible for cash refund under any circumstances, and cannot be carried over or deferred for use the following season. All 4 Pass sales are final. Customers will be notified if a deferral policy is instated for 2021-2022.

2020-21 COVID COVERAGE POLICY

2020-21 COVID COVERAGE:  The deferral deadline of April 11, 2021 has passed. If you did not defer eligible unused 2020-21 SKI VERMONT 4 PASS vouchers by the deadline, they are no longer eligible for deferral, no exceptions.

Fulfillment of Approved 2020-2021 Deferred Ski Vermont 4 Pass Vouchers

If you deferred last season's pass(es) under the Covid Coverage Policy that was enacted for last season purchases, we recently reached out to you via email with information on obtaining your replacement pass/vouchers to use for this season. We have provided gift codes to redeem for vouchers valid for the 2021-22 season, equivalent to what was returned by the April 11, 2021 deadline and approved by Ski Vermont. Only the purchaser received an email from Ski Vermont with this information unless indicated otherwise as part of the deferral request.

The 2021-22 SKI VERMONT 4 PASS vouchers must be used in compliance with the 2021-22 season’s terms and conditions, whatever those may be, and ski areas’ participation is subject to change at our members’ discretion. This deferral credit cannot be redeemed for cash value and no refunds or additional credits will be issued if the purchase price of the 2021-22 pass product is less than pass purchase in 2020-21. With the price increase, customers are not responsible for paying the difference on any deferred vouchers.

FAQs pertaining to Deferrals

What does the Gift Code provided in my deferral email give me access to?

Each Gift Code will correspond to the number of vouchers returned for deferment. If four (4) vouchers were deferred, the code will provide access to a complete 2021-2022 4 Pass. If only two (2) vouchers were deferred, the code will provide access to two (2) 2021-2022 vouchers, and so on.

How does it work if multiple 4 Passes in my order were deferred?

Only the purchaser will recieve an email from Ski Vermont detailing each person the deferred vouchers were originally assigned to, their number of vouchers and Gift Card Code.

Add other individuals to your account only if you intend on managing their usage (ideal for households who will always use vouchers together). If you choose to redeem multiple codes under one account and are assigning them to different bearers, note that only the account manager will have access to reserving vouchers for all those listed under that account.

If you do not intend on managing the usage of another bearer, provide the emailed Gift Card code and instructions to each person who will be managing their own account.

Example: You purchased a 2020-2021 four pass for yourself and the one for a friend, both were deferred. You will get an email with a gift code for your pass and your friend's pass. You would want to provide the Gift Code and instructions to your friend to create their own account. If you choose to put them on your account, any time your friend wants to use a voucher to visit a ski area, they will need to contact you to request when and where they want you to reserve their voucher and then you need to either accompany them or forward the emailed voucher in order for them to redeem for a ticket.

Do Deferred 4 Passes/vouchers have to be assigned to the same person deferred from?

Deferred vouchers do not have to be assigned to the same name provided last season, however the maximum of two (2) Ski Vermont 4 Passes per person still applies. Partial 4 Passes count towards this total. All 4 Pass assignments are final and are non-transferable.

Example: You purchased and deferred for a dependent/person who is not able to use this season. You can use the code to assign the pass to another dependent who you will manage on your account or gift the code so they can create and manage their own account.

Can I purchase a 2021-2022 4 Pass if I deferred?

You can purchase a 2021-2022 pass if it will not put the bearer over the two per person/bearer limit. All orders and purchases are subject to approval by Ski Vermont, any order that exceeds the two (2) 4 Pass limit will be rejected. A full or partial deferral are both considered as one 4 Pass order.

2021-2022 4 Pass Price increased, am I responsible for the difference in price?

No, per the Covid Coverage Policy terms, if price should increase, customers will not be responsible for paying the difference on any deferred vouchers.

2020-2021 4 Passes were restricted to mid-week, are deferred vouchers subject to same restrictions?

No, per the Covid Coverage Policy, vouchers must be used in compliance with the 2021-22 season’s terms and conditions. 2021-2022 season terms state that the 4 Pass is valid on weekends, subject to restricted dates and redemption requirements.
