Vermont Resort Summer Camps 2018

Smugglers’ Notch Resort
Children who have taken part in Smugglers’ Notch Resort’s award-winning vacation programs for ages 3-17 have enjoyed Vermont’s Green Mountains as their playground since the resort first developed these programs more than forty years ago. Traditional activities are still favorites: pool and waterpark visits, nature discovery, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and more. The resort’s specialty camps offer immersion for kids interested in outdoor survival, tennis, mountain biking, and high adventure, which includes aerial trekking, kayaking, rock climbing, and a Tyrolean Traverse ropes course/river gorge experience. Facilitated by counselors trained to support team building and activity skills, the camp day at Smugglers’ is all about having fun and building memories together in a social environment that leaves campers wanting more!
Stratton Mountain Resort
Summer camp at Stratton means adventure, learning, fresh air and most of all, fun. Full-day programs for ages 4 and older offer activities and themes that take advantage of everything the mountain environment has to offer. Stratton Adventure Camp promotes physical fitness, recreational skills and environmental awareness. Campers may also choose to add golf or tennis to their experience. Stratton golf professionals create an engaging and encouraging atmosphere for the junior player whether it is a first introduction or focus on steady skill progression. If tennis is the game, Cliff Drysdale Tennis School offers junior camps, from single day to all summer long.
Mount Snow Resort
Mount Snow has something for everyone this summer. For kids, Outdoor Exploration Camp (OEC) is a high-energy summer camp located in Vermont’s Green Mountain National Forest providing kids with the opportunity to adventure and explore the great outdoors with an experienced team of counselors. If you’re looking for fun and adventure for the whole family, Mount Snow Family Camp offers custom overnight camp options for the whole family that focus on unplugging from devices and reconnecting with each other. Family Camp is a fully-customizable vacation experience perfect for a quick family getaway, or a long-overdue family reunion.
Okemo Mountain Resort
Operating six days a week (closed Sundays) in Okemo’s Jackson Gore base area, Camp Gokemo is designed for campers ages 4-13 who are sure to enjoy Vermont summertime fun with daily indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, organized games and sports, swimming and a different general theme each week. Camp Gokemo includes snacks and lunch. Participation is available on a day-by-day basis or multi-day packs may be purchased at a discount. Discounts are also available for resort guests and Vermont residents.
Jay Peak Resort
For kids, a summer week can last so much longer than the days it encompasses. Every moment of a Raised Jay camp will stay with campers forever. From the first paddle of a kayak to the 18th hole, the Raised “Jayer” experiences hiking, ice skating, surfing, golf, kayaking, tie-dye, outdoor survival skills, rappelling and, most importantly, the simple, free feeling of being a careless kid in the summer. Camps begin July 9th.
Stowe Mountain Resort
Stowe Mountain Resort offers a fun and active camp for children ages 3-12. Based out of the Adventure Center, kids learn climbing, golf, tennis, mountaineering and more. Other activities include tie-dye, arts and crafts, exploring streams and rivers, hiking, swimming, ropes courses, disc golf, soccer and volleyball. The camp is offered everyday rain or shine; with daily rates, 5-day and season passes.
Killington Mountain School is helping refine downhill mountain bike skills this summer with week-long camps in late July for ages 10 to 18. If you’re looking to improve on race techniques, or just become more comfortable around the mountain, KMS Downhill Mountain Bike Camps are designed to help riders of all ability levels progress. Campers will be encouraged to explore their passion for the outdoors while building friendships and creating lasting memories.
Sugarbush offers summer camps for ages 3-18 from late-June to mid-August. Offerings include special weekly themed camps for children ages 6-12. Themes include adventure, climbing, farm-to-plate, water and outdoor skills. Additionally, golf or tennis camps are available in addition to lodging.
Mountain Top Inn and Resort
The Children’s Adventure Camp at Mountain Top Inn and Resort will create the memories of a lifetime. Offered Monday through Friday from July 1 through August 14th (for children 6-13 years old), the camp has children exploring the resort’s 700 acres, learning about nature, horseback riding, playing a variety of games, swimming and more. In addition to the Children’s Adventure Camp, Mountain Top Inn and Resort also has the Children’s Summer Horsemanship Camp is for children 6-12 years old (and over 42” tall). Available Monday through Friday from July 1 through August 14. Kids will gain a basic understanding for horsemanship and horse care, safety and responsibility along with hikes and a variety of other activities.

The Woodstock Inn and Resort
The Woodstock Inn and Resort has a great camp week planned for kids with tennis, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, gardening, arts and crafts, obstacle courses, yoga and more. Open to children in K-6th grade, the camp is offered in full and half day options and runs from Monday, June 18th to Tuesday, August 28th.
